Mr. Störlein from the Erfurt University of Applied Sciences (Building and Energy Technology) has been working on his master's thesis at IPH Selzer since May 2017. The topic of this thesis is the self-sufficient energy supply for the new dormitory in the orphanage in Malawi. The concept is to be realized under the aspect of “helping people to help themselves” and aims to immensely improve the quality of life of the orphans and employees on site with a focus on using their own resources.
