Brief portrait

In January 2022, a state-of-the-art production hall with a total area of around 1,600 m² was completed for TRIBO Hartstoff GmbH in Barchfeld-Immelborn in order to meet the increasing demand for carbide tools. In addition to new production areas, a warehouse and a laboratory were built, which is used for quality management and research purposes. Heat is supplied to the building by two highly efficient combined heat and power units (CHP) with a combined thermal output of 230 kW and an electrical output of 140 kW. In addition, the heating output is supplemented by two gas condensing boilers with 300 kW each. The cooling supply is provided by two powerful chillers, each with a capacity of 400 kW, which ensure optimum temperatures for air conditioning and machine cooling. In addition, the waste heat from the CHP units can be used to supply an absorption chiller with an output of 150 kW. This ensures economical running times for the CHP units and provides cost-effective cooling energy. The building is ventilated by five modern ventilation systems with a total output of 120,000 m³/h. These systems ensure precise control of temperature and humidity in all rooms. To increase energy efficiency, adiabatic cooling is used to support the cooling capacity of the systems and reduce energy consumption at the same time. Another part of the task was to plan the supply of technical gases, compressed air and nitrogen. These supply media are essential for the highly specialized production processes and were optimally integrated into the overall concept.
