12 residential buildings with a total of 71 residential units and an underground garage with 76 parking spaces were built on the site of a former post office bunker. The 3- to 4-storey buildings were constructed entirely using highly efficient building materials (KfW60) and state-of-the-art technology. All apartments have underfloor heating, which can be used for heating in winter and passive cooling in the summer months. The entire heat supply is provided by geothermal energy via brine-to-water heat pumps. The systems are supported by three solar thermal systems for hot water preparation, heating and regeneration of the boreholes.
