Brief portrait

In 2004, a new and modern day care center was built at the Sackpfeife in Weimar. IPH was responsible for the design, implementation planning and construction supervision. IPH Selzer drew up a comprehensive energy concept for the client, in which the investment and operating costs of supplying alternative energies were presented. The thermal design of the building was implemented using underfloor heating with a spread of 38/25°C. It is possible to replace the currently installed condensing boiler with a brine/water or air/water heat pump at any time. All installations have been dimensioned and designed for this case. Anodic oxidation was used to combat legionella on the water side. Regular measurements by the Weimar health authority confirm that the building is legionella-free. Modern and child-friendly ceramics were used in the sanitary areas
