Brief portrait

Brief description of the construction project: As part of this project, a profitability calculation is being carried out in accordance with VDI 2067 for five variants of heat supply for a residential area in Barth, Tannenheim district. The existing area comprises 54 terraced houses, which are currently supplied by a local heating network via a boiler house with a 300 kW gas boiler. A new development area with 15 detached houses with a heating requirement of around 100 kW is to be built in the immediate vicinity.

Due to the geographical proximity of the two residential areas, it is being examined whether the existing heating network can be supplied with the same technology. Variant 5 air-to-water heat pump with heating rod was developed as an efficient and future-proof heat supply that is economically viable and independent of fossil fuels.
