1. The Thuringia Network for Municipal Heat Planning and Heating Technologies Receives an Award from AGEEN

The “1st Thuringia Network for Municipal Heat Planning & Heat Technologies,” founded in August 2025 by IPH Selzer Ingenieure, was awarded the seal of approval by the Working Group of Energy Efficiency and Climate Protection Networks in Germany (AGEEN) on May 4, 2026. Particular emphasis was placed on the network’s pioneering role in implementing the municipal heating transition, as it is the first active network in Germany dedicated to this field. The goal is the successful implementation of municipal heating plans in concrete projects. In this regard, the network supports the participating municipalities through technical input from experts as well as the exchange of practical experience. In doing so, it makes a significant contribution to the successful implementation of the heating transition at the municipal level.

We are very pleased about the recognition of the network’s work and would like to express our sincere thanks to Moritz Becker and AGEEN for this award.
